Our Story

Blue Water Engineering Pty Ltd
( BWE ) was established in 1982 by its current founder, BWE is an Australian privately owned and operated company with its owned preemies located in South East Queensland.

Starting from humble beginnings BWE now has its current premises in Molendinar on the Gold Coast.

BWE has developed a respected reputation in both the architectural, industrial, manufacturing, mining and marine sectors for our knowledge, technical experience and the quality of the products delivered to our customers.

These factors coupled with the efficient services and a ‘can do’ approach, has not only matched the needs of our customers but also exceeded their expectations.


BWE has the ability to work in conjunction with customers and third parties, having had a steady ownership and management for over 40 years, BWE is able to access vast amounts of previous experience to be able to offer real world solutions to customers enquiries.



We are in the position to offer local, interstate and international clients a full range of quality cutting and engineering services at competitive prices.



BWE is suited to all customer groups, from the small ‘one-off’ jobs through to small run prototypes and large production quantities. Our convenient locations enable swift delivery to our customers locally, interstate or internationally.

BWE Our Timeline

Excerise Equipement 1989

The exercise equipment era 1989 – helping to develop exercise machines for a customer, working to eliminate issues and develop durable and serviceable equipment for on sale to customers.

Mining Access 1990

Mining Access era 1990 – Working with a Customer and his desire to provide better access to large scale mining equipment. BWE was instrumental in the development and manufacture of the large hydraulicly operated lifts and ladders. Being able to design, manufacture, assemble and test was key to being able to quickly develop and deliver systems to waiting customers.

Casino Gaming 1992

Casino Gaming Era 1992 – Approached to reengineer the coin handling systems for two major casinos led to the development and manufacture of Kenos ball drawing machines for the casino industry, with the writing on the wall of the next thing in the gaming industry being automatic card shuffling machines the next evolution was set in place.

Vaclift
2008

VACLIFT is born 2008 – Needing to service waterjet loading and unloading we developed the Vaclift range of vacuum lifting systems. Vaclift now covers a wide range of industries and is being sold worldwide, all manufactured and designed in house at Blue Water Engineering.
